DEEP AND SOFT TISSUE
Deep tissue massage works deeply into the muscle and soft tissues to release spasm and stiffness. The amount of pressure used is always tailored to your requirements and tolerances. Soft massage tissue is more superficial and is for relaxation and calming the nervous system.
DRY NEEDLING
This is where acupuncture needles are used to treat trigger points and taut bands of muscle. It is a very effective technique for subborn spasm and sporting injuries. It has also been found to be effective with chronic muscular issues such a low back, shoulder and neck issues.
Dry needling is NOT Acupuncture, it is a western medicine technique that evolved out of the work done by Doctors Travell & Simons.
CUPPING THERAPY
This technique has its origins in traditional Chinese medicine. Traditionally glass flame cups were used, however today we use vacuum cups with a hand vacuum pump that evacuates the cup.
Cupping therapy releases spasm and gives a great myofascial release in the soft tissues. Sliding cups are also used to great effect. Many clients love the feeling and effect. Assists in releasing the connectives tissues of the body and profoundly stimulating blood flow.

SOFT TISSUE RELASE
Involves using active and passive stretching and joint mobilization to assist with the release of spasm and restriction and to improve range of motion. Tailored for people that don’t like deep tissue, and is very similar to Swedish style massage.
